Among our production lines running with precision and the constant effort of our collaborators, Leoni Mexico had the honor of welcoming, from September 3 to 7, Anis Kammoun, Chief Operation Officer, and Jürgen Stahl, Chief Financial Officer. During their visit to the plants in Durango, Mérida 1, and Mérida 2, both executives witnessed the passion and dedication that distinguish our teams.
More than just a visit, their plant tours became a moment of reflection and learning. The feedback they shared was clear and inspiring: “In Mexico, we found motivated personnel, great collaborators, and skilled operators. It is necessary to continue working on discipline to ensure that all our teams and machinery reach their highest performance. We leave with the feeling of continuing to fight; we have a very clear goal: to achieve sustainable profitability.”
At every stop, there was also reason to celebrate. The Durango plant was recognized for maintaining a Zero past-Due Status throughout the year, while the Yucatán plants achieved first place worldwide in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). These accomplishments reflect the talent, discipline, and perseverance of those who make up our LEONI family.
