The traditional pastry Rosca de Reyes is one of the most representative traditions of Mexican culture, celebrated every January 6 to commemorate Three Kings’ Day. Sharing this ring-shaped bread symbolizes unity and community, while finding the traditional “muñequito,” a small figurine hidden inside the bread, represents a gesture of good fortune and commitment.
In this spirit, LEONI Mexico celebrated Three Kings’ Day across its four plants in the country, bringing together thousands of employees in a special gathering. During the celebration, each colleague received a slice of the traditional Rosca, accompanied by a warm cup of hot chocolate, creating a moment of warmth and connection in the everyday work environment.
At the Yucatán plants, the celebration included a special activity that added excitement to the day: those who found the traditional “muñequito” took part in a raffle to win one of more than 300 family-sized Roscas, extending the tradition beyond the workplace and sharing it with their families and loved ones. A meaningful gesture that reinforced the collaborative spirit that defines LEONI.
This event was made possible thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Human Resources team, with the valuable support of the union, once again demonstrating that when we work together, we strengthen not only our operations but also our human connections.
At LEONI, we believe that preserving traditions is also a way to inspire, motivate, and build community—celebrating our roots as we move forward together toward the future.
