On Saturday, December 20, 2025, in the city of Mérida, LEONI Yucatán held the grand final of the Soccer Tournament at the Bodegol facilities, as part of its initiatives to strengthen teamwork, integration, and a sense of belonging among employees.
A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament, competing in the women’s and men’s categories, in an environment defined by respect, friendship, and fair play, reflecting the values that characterize the LEONI community.
Throughout the tournament, teams demonstrated commitment, discipline and teamwork, contributing to the overall success of the event. At the conclusion of the matches, the champion teams were recognized: Fénix in the women’s category and The Crew in the men’s category, standing out for their effort, dedication, and performance throughout the competition.
The tournament was organized by the union, with the aim of promoting recreational activities that encourage integration, well-being, and a healthy work-life balance. In recognition of their efforts, the winning teams received special prizes, along with trophies and medals.
Through initiatives like this, LEONI promotes an active and healthy lifestyle, demonstrating that well-being is also built beyond the workplace. Celebrating effort, fellowship, and teamwork through sports is undoubtedly one of the best ways to close the year, strengthening bonds among employees and welcoming a new cycle filled with energy, motivation, and true LEONI spirit.
