Warehouse Keeper

Hello, my name is José Fernando Félix López, and I have the pleasure of being part of LEONI since 16 years. I joined the company thanks to a friend who invited me to collaborate with this great team. I started my journey at LEONI without completing my degree in business administration, but I found a space here to grow and develop my skills. Currently, my job position is Warehouse Keeper in the receiving area, where I am responsible for receiving urgent material for production and requisitions.

In my role, I manage the income of materials from interplants, suppliers, and even several LEONIs worldwide, as well as packages and MRO items. Most of the material is received through purchase orders and invoices. What excites me the most about my job is the companionship and positive work environment. I know many people in the plant, and there’s always a morning greeting that energizes me.

The year 2023 has been particularly significant for me, as I was recognized twice for my performance as a collaborator. Once during the managers stand-up meeting and again at a values award, where I competed with many colleagues and had the great satisfaction of being awarded Collaborator of the Year 2023. Staying at LEONI during global crisis periods has been a challenge that I have faced with determination, and the constant training we receive has been fundamental to my development.

To be successful at LEONI, it is essential to be a positive and productive person, with a constant willingness to learn. It is important not to get stuck in a routine; instead, look for opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge. Learning several tasks not only makes you a more capable person, but also opens the door to be promoted to higher positions as a supervisor or even beyond.

My advice if you're starting at LEONI is to maintain a positive attitude, always be willing to work, and imagine a future full of great opportunities.
