My story at LEONI
Hi, I'm Clara del Rosario Puc. My story at LEONI began seven years and five months ago. During this time, the company has offered me many opportunities, such as continuous training and the possibility of finishing my professional career; I recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Management; having been able to combine my studies with my work is something I deeply value.
When I heard about LEONI, I decided to apply and was trained in Durango. I started as a production operator, then I move up to trainer, supervisor and currently, I work as a Training Specialist at the Mérida 1 plant in Yucatan. In my role, I develop skills matrices, teach induction courses for new hires, and participate in audits. In addition, I evaluate the performance of the trainers to ensure that they follow the established processes properly.
This is my job
My workday is dynamic and always brings new challenges, which keeps my job interesting and diverse. My morning includes updating reports and attending meetings, and in the afternoon, I focus on capturing staff documentation and conducting tours of the production floor.
My highlight
One of the most enriching opportunities LEONI has given me is training in places like Durango, Hermosillo, and Marocco. These trips have allowed me to get to know and learn about different cultures and processes, resulting in unexpected, but extremely valuable experiences. On the other hand, the most important challenge I have faced in the company has been balancing work and study while continuing to grow professionally. This combination requires effective time management and the ability to stay focused on my long-term goals. Constant training and project assignments help me enormously, strengthening my skills and motivating me to continue to grow and learn in my role.
My view of LEONI as an employer
My opinion of LEONI as an employer is very positive. They value me and provide me with growth opportunities, trusting me as part of the team. The environment in my area is excellent; I always receive support and guidance to do my job well. Among the moments that have motivated me the most is each new promotion I get, as it represents an opportunity to advance in my career, overcome new challenges, and reach higher goals.
If you ask me how I would describe LEONI in three words, I would say: a super company.

To be successful at LEONI, a person must have the ability to learn, creativity, adaptability to change, resilience, stress tolerance, and perseverance.
My advice to someone starting in this company is not to pass up the great opportunity to work here.
