Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Consultant to join our IT Service Management (ITSM) team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in implementing and configuring ServiceNow solutions to align with business objectives. This role requires a consultative approach, the ability to translate business requirements into effective ServiceNow workflows, and a solid understanding of ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Asset Management.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Provide guidance on ServiceNow best practices to optimize system performance and user experience.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to ServiceNow platform and configurations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, process flows, and implementation guides.
- Participate in system upgrades and patching efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Performs/optimizes/automates administrative tasks such as user access, performance monitoring, release upgrades, instance security, error identification/ remediation, as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 years + of IT support and service delivery experience or Bachelor’s degree of Information System Management
- Excellent communication skills in English (Both written and verbal)
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Consultant or Developer with hands-on configuration and implementation work.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and limitations.
- Experience working with ITSM processes and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Familiarity with scripting in ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide, and Flow Designer.

- Experience with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) management, including data modeling, discovery tools, and relationship mapping.
- Exposure to ServiceNow architecture, including platform design, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM, such as ITOM, or ITBM.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a strong plus.
